Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Six Point Survival LLC, our events and memberships are carefully scheduled and prepared in advance. The following policies ensure fairness to our clients, staff, and instructors.
1. Deposit, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Agreement (Events, Parties, and Private Bookings)
-
Deposit Requirement. Client agrees to pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total event cost to secure the selected date and services. This deposit must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled event. If the event is booked within 30 days of the event date, the deposit is due immediately upon booking.
-
Final Payment. The remaining balance is due in full 14 days before the event date. Failure to submit the final payment on time may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of the deposit.
-
Rescheduling. The Client may request to reschedule their event within 30 days of the original event date, with the new event scheduled to occur within 1 year of the original date. The deposit will be forfeited if a new date is not selected within that 30-day window. Only one rescheduling request will be granted per booking.
-
Late Rescheduling or Cancellation. If the Client requests to cancel or reschedule within 7 days of the event, an additional non-refundable rescheduling fee of 10% of the total event cost will be required to secure the new date.
-
Weather and Acts of God. Events proceed rain or shine. Light to moderate weather is not valid grounds for cancellation or refund. In cases of severe weather (e.g., lightning, hurricanes), Six Point Survival will make every effort to reschedule at no additional cost. Events impacted by acts of God (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions) do not entitle the Client to a refund. In such cases, rescheduling will be offered, but if the Client declines rescheduling, the payment and deposit remain non-refundable.
-
Acknowledgment. The Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms stated above by completing the booking process.
2. Membership Cancellation Policy (Recurring Programs & Homeschool Classes)
-
Memberships require a 30-day written notice of cancellation. Email notification is acceptable.
-
If notice is given today, the account will remain active and billing will continue for one additional 30-day period.
-
Example: If cancellation notice is submitted on April 10, billing will continue through May 10, and services will remain available until that date.
-
Payments already made are non-refundable.
Acknowledgment
