Terms & Conditions
By booking, participating in, or otherwise utilizing services provided by Six Point Survival LLC (“Six Point Survival,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all programs, classes, camps, events, excursions, rentals, private instruction, corporate programs, and other services offered by Six Point Survival LLC.
Participation in our programs is voluntary and subject to these Terms, all signed waivers, safety requirements, and applicable policies.
Booking, Payments, & Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit equal to twenty percent (20%) of the total event cost may be required to reserve private events, group programs, retreats, camps, or specialty bookings.
For bookings made more than thirty (30) days prior to the event date, deposits are due within the timeframe provided during booking confirmation.
For bookings made within thirty (30) days of the event date, the required deposit is due immediately at the time of booking.
Reservations are not considered confirmed until any required deposit or payment has been received.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, remaining balances are due no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled event date.
Failure to remit payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation, forfeiture of deposits, suspension of participation, or reassignment of reserved spots to other participants.
Memberships, Recurring Classes, & Subscription Programs
Recurring memberships, weekly classes, and subscription-based programs automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with the applicable membership agreement.
Tuition, membership fees, and recurring payments reserve a participant’s spot within a program and are not based solely on attendance.
Missed classes, participant scheduling conflicts, vacations, extracurricular activities, illness, transportation issues, or other personal circumstances do not qualify for refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments unless otherwise approved in writing by Six Point Survival LLC.
Requests to pause, cancel, or modify memberships must be submitted in writing. Changes are not considered effective until confirmed by Six Point Survival LLC.
Membership Cancellation Policy
Membership cancellations require a minimum of thirty (30) days written notice submitted by the account holder. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email or other approved written communication method and are not considered effective until confirmed by Six Point Survival LLC.
Memberships remain active, and all scheduled payments remain due during the thirty (30) day notice period. Failure to attend classes, non-use of services, or verbal notice does not constitute cancellation.
No refunds, prorated credits, or retroactive cancellations will be issued for unused membership time, missed classes, or failure to provide proper notice.
Six Point Survival LLC reserves the right to continue charging any active membership until the required cancellation notice period has been completed.
Educational Scholarship & Payment Authorization
Some participants may utilize scholarship or educational funding programs, including but not limited to Step Up For Students or other state-sponsored scholarship programs. It is the responsibility of the parent, guardian, or account holder to ensure sufficient funds are properly reserved, approved, and available prior to invoice due dates.
By maintaining a payment method on file, the account holder authorizes Six Point Survival LLC to charge the payment method on file for any outstanding balances, overdue invoices, failed scholarship payments, unreserved scholarship funds, denied reimbursement requests, or unpaid tuition amounts not covered by the applicable scholarship program.
If scholarship funds are not reserved, approved, or successfully processed on or before the invoice due date, Six Point Survival LLC reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for the full outstanding balance without additional notice.
Failure of a scholarship organization, reimbursement program, third-party payer, or educational funding source to remit payment does not relieve the account holder of financial responsibility for services rendered.
Rescheduling Policy
Private events and qualifying programs may be rescheduled one (1) time, subject to availability and approval by Six Point Survival LLC.
To qualify for rescheduling:
-
The request must be made within thirty (30) days of the original event date.
-
The rescheduled event must occur within one (1) year of the original event date.
-
All outstanding balances must remain current.
If a new date is not selected within thirty (30) days, any deposit or applicable payments may be forfeited.
Rescheduling requests made fewer than seven (7) days prior to the event date may incur a rescheduling fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the total booking amount.
Rescheduling is subject to instructor availability, staffing, location access, and operational scheduling constraints.
Weather & Event Conditions
Six Point Survival programs are outdoor-based experiences and are conducted in a variety of environmental conditions. Participants are responsible for arriving appropriately prepared with suitable clothing, footwear, hydration, and equipment.
Light rain, moderate weather, heat, cold, mud, wind, humidity, or other normal outdoor environmental conditions do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or credit.
In the event of severe weather, unsafe environmental conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, facility closures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Six Point Survival LLC reserves the right to modify, delay, relocate, shorten, reschedule, or cancel activities as necessary for safety and operational purposes.
If Six Point Survival LLC cancels an event due to safety concerns or operational necessity, we may, at our discretion:
-
Reschedule the event,
-
Issue a credit toward future services, or
-
Provide a refund.
Participant Conduct & Safety
Participants and parents/guardians are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, property owners, facilities, other participants, animals, and the natural environment.
Six Point Survival LLC reserves the right to deny participation, remove individuals from programs, or terminate services without refund when behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, threatening, destructive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the values and safety standards of the organization.
Participants must follow instructor directions and safety requirements at all times.
Failure to follow safety instructions may result in immediate removal from activities without refund.
