Our summer camp is designed for children ages 7–14. Activities are adjusted by age and ability to ensure all students are appropriately challenged and supported.

Where is the camp located?

Camp is held at Prestige Homeschool Academy, with activities taking place both outdoors and indoors throughout the day.

We also have field trips planned to Lincoln Park in Valparaiso and Turkey Creek in Niceville. Transportation will be provided.

Question 4

What does my child need to bring each day?

Campers should arrive with:
Weather-appropriate clothing (expect several hours outdoors)
Clothing suitable for water activities (we may spend time in or near water)
A change of clothes in case they get wet or dirty
Closed-toe shoes appropriate for outdoor activity
Lunch and snacks
A water bottle
Sunscreen (already applied is recommended; bring extra if needed)
All specialized equipment and materials for camp activities are provided.

What is included in the camp?

We provide all necessary survival equipment, tools, and materials used during camp activities. Campers do not need to bring any special gear.

Is this camp mostly outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Six Point Summer Camp is primarily outdoor-based, and students should expect to spend several hours outside each day. We also have indoor space available for:
Breaks and cooling off
Bathroom access
Instructional time
Weather-related adjustments

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

We operate rain or shine. Light rain is part of the outdoor experience.
If weather becomes unsafe—including:
Gusting winds above 35 mph
Heavy rain
Lightning
We will move activities indoors. Please ensure your child has appropriate weather clothing and a change of clothes.

Can I pick up my child early?

Yes. Early pick-up is allowed; however, advance coordination is required, as the group may be off-site or on a field-based activity at the time.

Can I drop my child off late?

Yes. Late drop-offs are permitted, but please coordinate in advance, especially in the event the group is away from the main location.

Can I stay at camp with my child?

Accepted Answer

No. While we understand the desire to stay, we encourage campers to have the opportunity to build independence, confidence, and peer relationships. Parents and guardians are not permitted to stay during camp hours.

What if my child has never done outdoor or survival activities before?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience is required. All instruction is age-appropriate, guided, and focused on learning through participation. Camp is designed for beginners through more experienced students.

How many students are in each camp session?

Camp size is intentionally limited to ensure proper supervision, safety, and quality instruction. The total number of campers will not exceed 30, and we maintain a strict 10:1 student-to-instructor ratio.

How are safety and supervision handled?

Safety is a top priority. Activities are instructor-led, age-appropriate, and supervised at all times. Students are taught safety expectations and boundaries throughout the week.

How much does the camp cost?

Auto-pay members: One week of summer camp is included in your membership
Non auto pay members: $250 per week
Students may attend one or both weeks.

Is this camp eligible for Step Up for Students?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Six Point Survival is an approved Step Up for Students Direct Pay provider.

Families may reserve funds through the Step Up marketplace for one or both weeks.

How do I register?

Registration is available online, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend registering early to secure your child’s spot and reserve Step Up funding if applicable.
