Service Description

Ages 7–12 Description: Our Level 1 program is designed for beginners and introduces kids to the fundamentals of real-world survival skills through hands-on outdoor training. Students learn essential skills such as fire building, shelter construction, navigation, signaling, clothing adaptation, equipment care, food and water procurement, wilderness first aid, plant identification, basic medicine making, simple tool and weapon crafting and safe use, improvisation, and more. Classes are held almost entirely outdoors, giving students consistent exposure to natural environments where they learn to observe, adapt, and engage with the world around them—not just sit in it. This connection to nature plays a critical role in reducing stress, improving focus, and building a sense of awareness and responsibility. Instruction is delivered in focused skill blocks, allowing students to spend multiple weeks developing one core skill at a time before progressing. This approach builds true competence through repetition and application—not just surface-level exposure. Beyond technical skills, this program is built to develop the whole child. Students grow in confidence as they accomplish real challenges, strengthen communication through teamwork, improve listening and attention to detail, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in dynamic situations. They learn resilience by working through failure, adaptability by adjusting to changing conditions, leadership by stepping up within a group, and accountability by taking ownership of their actions and equipment. This isn’t just a class—it’s a training ground for capable, confident, and self-reliant young individuals. Pricing: Auto Pay: $200/month SUFS / Non-Auto Pay: $225/month One-Time Registration Fee: $50
